Day 2
Welcome to Day 2 of the 21-Day Prayer Challenge
We invite you to join us for 21 days of intentional prayer. Check here every day for prayer prompts for this challenge. We are excited to see what God does through prayer!
Prayer Prompt:
Pray for your faith to grow and remain steadfast.
Prayer:
Father, we confess that we don’t always have a mature and steadfast faith when trials and tribulations come. We don’t always consider our problems with joy! Help us understand that You have equipped us so that when hard things come, they can strengthen, grow, and refine our faith. You allow us to be tested so our faith will become steadfast and enduring. Help us to remember that You can use any affliction and trouble to perfect and complete our faith. We praise You for that.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Prayer Tool:
If you have difficulty knowing where to start when you pray, find Scripture that speaks to what you are praying about and use God’s Word to guide your prayer. When words fail us, and we don’t know what to pray, or if our prayers become monotonous and rote, we can use God’s own words and pray Scripture back to Him, allowing that to shape our prayers.
Scripture:
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
James 1:2-4 ESV
