Day Six of the 21-Day Prayer Challenge

Prayer Prompt:
Pray for the faith of your family and friends to be strengthened.

Prayer:

Dearest Jesus, Thank You for our brothers and sisters in Christ that I get to do life with. I am so thankful for the fellowship, support, encouragement, and accountability we provide each other. I come to you with a humble heart and lift up my Christian family and friends and pray that You will strengthen and deepen their faith, hope, and trust in You. I pray they will continue to grow in their faith, knowledge, wisdom, and boldness as they dedicate themselves to serving, honoring, and loving You. Father, please deepen their love and hunger for Your Word. May they find joy and fulfillment in spending devoted time with You daily. Grant them an understanding and love for Your truth, and help them live according to it.
In Your precious Name, we pray, Amen.

Prayer Tool:
If you find it hard to keep track of what you are praying for and how God is answering your prayers, keep a prayer journal! It doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated; just find a three-ring binder and add some paper. Whether it’s just a few lines or a detailed prayer written out, if you daily, write down the names and situations you’re talking to God about and leave space underneath or to the side to record when and how God answered those prayers….even if that answer is “No,” “Not now,” or “Not this way.” This can be a powerful tool for reflection and encouragement as it offers tangible proof of how God is working in your life.

Scripture:
I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.  Philemon 1:4-6
