Pursue...Day 19
Prayer Prompt: Pray for Sheridan Valor Academy
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Next week, Sheridan Valor Academy will be moving into the Ignite Building. The mission of Valor is to provide a personalized Christian education that supports each student’s unique needs and abilities and fosters creativity, mastery, and excellence. Their goal is to shape their students to grow “in every way unto Christ.”
Valor and Ignite share the common goal of building the Kingdom for Christ, so please join us in praying for the students, staff, and administration of the school as they move into the building and then as they begin school in the fall.
Dearest Lord, we pray that You would command Your angels to guard the students, staff, and administration of Valor Academy as they move into our building and going on into their school year next year. Send angels ahead of them to guard them in all their ways. Be a strong tower and refuge in their lives that they can always run to and find safety. Protect their minds, protect their hearts, and protect their bodies. Sharpen their knowledge of all subjects, but especially their understanding of Your character and what their identity is in You. May they know they were created uniquely by You and give them a desire to discover Your purpose and calling in their lives.
Give wisdom, discernment, patience, and grace to the teachers, administrators, and other staff members. May their instruction be based on and grounded in Your truth, and give them boldness and clarity to speak Truth to the students. Make every conversation gracious and seasoned with salt. May they strive to work in a way that honors You. Clothe them with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience that they an bear all things and forgive when forgiveness is needed.
May each student, staff, and administrator know that they are Christ’s ambassadors, working together for the building of His Kingdom. Let Valor be a light to this community.
